Ali Harter, 25, is a singer/songwriter from Choctaw, Oklahoma. Playing in bands or as a solo musician for the better part of twelve years, Harter is a veteran in the national music scene.

After signing and later parting with an Oklahoma based record label in the winter of 2005/2006, Ali joined forces with Oklahoma's own Mama Bird Booking and has bounced back by means of staying on constant tour, to promote her first full length record, as an independent artist. Harter's first record, 'Worry The Bone', was released June 15th 2007 on Little Mafia Records. 'Worry the Bone', is available through itunes and DATAPANIC Distro in the US, and was re-released in Europe in 2008 and is available in stores throughout France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands Anticraft.

Working with French management companies Paradigme Prod./Tojours Plus, and Acouzic, Ali been able to tour France, Belgium, Italy, & Switzerland consistently since 2007. July 2009 marks nearly a dozen European tours in a little under two years; plans for three more in 2009/10 are underway. Ali recently traveled to Switzerland to play the prestigious, Montreaux Jazz Festival with the likes of BB King, Dave Matthews, Herbie Hancock, Alice Cooper, Earth, Wind and Fire, Prince, The Black Eyed Peas and many others.

Ali has also joined up with WARM Music/Big Green Bamboo, a European publishing company, which has given her an opportunity to explore the commercial side of the music industry. Ali has begun writing and recording original music for television add campaigns. Ali's music has also been used in several independent films including Mickey Reeses', 'Le Corndog Du Desespoir'. You can also hear and see Ali perform on the new season of OETA's original home improvement phenomenon, 'Utopia Joe'.

Ali can also be heard collaborating on the new Wax Tailor record, available in September 2009, on the first single , which she co-wrote with Wax Tailor and New Orleans' 'Voice', titled, 'This Train'.

Ali has been fortunate enough to share the stage with such acts as: John Mayall, Meg and Dia, Magnolia Electric Co., Steel Train, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, War of Ages, Flee The Seen, and has shared festival billing with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Leon Russel, Ben Harper, Tori Amos, PJ Harvey, Amos Lee, Limbeck, The Black Crowes, Cake, Damone as well as many others.

Ali has spent most of 2009 touring and recording her second full length record, 'No Bees, No Honey', which will be released March 13th 2010, independently..
